Display color accuracy is non-negotiable for graphic design. If your laptop's display is off by 20% in color coverage, your work will look different on other screens and in print. Look for laptops that cover 100% sRGB at minimum. 100% DCI-P3 and OLED panels are even better. After display quality, RAM (16GB+) and SSD size (1TB) matter most. You don't necessarily need an expensive dedicated GPU for 2D work.
